Hot air balloon ride.

Greetings Air Show fans!

One of our hot air balloon pilots can take two passengers up for a one hour ride.  It is supposed to be a beautiful morning!

The cost is $450 for two passengers, for a once-in-a-lifetime ride.

Check them out at:

https://www.facebook.com/spiritintheskyballooning

You can find their contact number in the "about" section on their Facebook page.  You must call to arrange the ride.

*Disclaimer*  The hot air balloon ride is a private transaction between you and the balloonist.  The Air Show of Warsaw is not involved or responsible for any commercial balloon flights.

There, I feel better now.  :0)

NASCAR at an air show? Why not?

It's not often you get to see a NASCAR in Warsaw, Indiana.  (We're going to have TWO!)
Maybe you have seen the car but, have you heard the car?
Nothing gets a race enthusiast's heart pounding like the sound of that engine firing up!

We are so fortunate that ML Motorsports, and their sponsors, are sending Nationwide Series driver Johanna Long and the #70 car to the Air Show of Warsaw!

Johanna will be on site, signing autographs (you might even get to have your picture taken with her) from 10:00-11:30.  She'll take a break before getting behind the wheel of the special "Wish for Our Heroes" Chevrolet Camaro NASCAR.

Look for Johanna at the ML Motorsports canopy.

Too bad that thing doesn't have a passenger seat! :0)

Until next time,
Heather

Up, up, and away!

We have just added a hot air balloon launch to our lineup!  The balloons have to be out of the air space by 8:30 a.m. so, they plan to lift-off no later that 7:45 a.m.  As of now, we have: one balloon confirmed; one almost certain; and two other arms are being twisted.  :0)

This is Mitch Miller's balloon.  He will definitely be there.  If you've never seen a launch, get up early!  It should be pretty impressive!!  (I think Rudy's will be there with the Rise 'n Roll donuts for the launch.)

As long as the weather cooperates, Mitch will bring his balloon back to the show.  It will be on display much of the day!

Until next time,
Heather
